During this first lesson, the basics will be taught in a group setting in 55 minutes. This starts with an explanation of skiing, followed by a few exercises on flat ground. Once the skiing posture has been explained, the instructor will take the group up part of our practice slope. After this, you will practice sliding down in the correct skiing posture, followed by a few exercises. Next, it's time to practice braking safely. This is done in the snowplow position, also known as the pizza slice in children's terms.
Once the group has mastered this, it is time to slide down from the top of the practice slope in a controlled manner in this snowplow position. Once this has been achieved, a brief introduction will be given on how to make a single turn.
