Shos is a ski and snowboard school that specializes in teaching people with special needs. Whether they have a physical, mental, sensory, or multiple disability, everyone is welcome on the slopes at Shos. Shos is a non-profit volunteer organization.
"Equal opportunities for everyone with a physical challenge." That was the dream of founder Bibian Mentel, multiple Paralympic snowboarder. Now it is our mission to make Bibian's dream come true, and we hope to inspire you with her positive attitude.
With their Re-abled program, they help everyone with a physical challenge to get the most out of themselves. They do this by offering better guidance and providing participants with the right prosthesis/orthosis. In addition, they motivate people to get moving and push their boundaries.
Het creëren van onbetaalbare momenten voor thuiswonende kinderen uit gezinnen die te maken hebben met kanker. Bliss to Shine organiseert jaarlijks de Shine Day en laat wensen in vervulling gaan tijdens een Blissi Special Day voor de kinderen/gezinnen uit de doelgroep. Deelname aan de Shine Day en het beleven van het vervullen van de wens levert een positieve bijdrage aan de mentale veerkracht van het hele gezin. Dit zorgt ervoor dat ze sterker in het ziekteproces, het dagelijks leven en in de maatschappij staan.
Make-A-Wish does everything in its power to fulfill as many wishes as possible. Their story is not just any story; it is a story of children with serious, sometimes even life-threatening illnesses. It is a story of caring volunteers, parents, hospitals, and business partners who work together to make the impossible unforgettable. Of months of preparation, anticipation, carefree moments with family, and memories. Being part of an unforgettable Wish Journey gives the child positive energy. This helps children and the people around them find new strength to face the future with greater resilience.
A small step in SnowWorld's commitment to sustainability in the hospitality industry. All our SnowWorld locations in the Netherlands have collection points for PET bottles and cans. This expansion and standardization of our collection efforts contributes to reducing our ecological footprint and fits perfectly with our commitment to a greener future.
By collecting PET and cans in these new, highly recognizable units, we will be able to recycle and reuse more materials, thereby having a positive impact on the environment. An additional motivation for our efforts is that the collected deposit money will be donated to a good cause.
Visitors who participate in this collection campaign will help us support people with physical disabilities in achieving their dreams and goals. So please bring your PET and cans to us!
