Construction of the 30,000 m² solar panel array at SnowWorld Neuss is now complete.
What’s more, 30 charging points for electric cars are now available! #letsgogreen

SnowWorld Neuss is going carbon neutral!

Following more than two years of planning work for what is arguably one of the most extensive projects undertaken by the SnowWorld-owned Neuss Ski Hall, construction of a photovoltaic system covering around 30,000 m² began in the summer of 2022. Construction is now complete and the system is fully connected to the grid. This marks another significant milestone in our commitment to clean and sustainable energy generation.

The entire SnowWorld complex, including the Neuss Ski Hall, the Fire & Ice Hotel, the extensive catering facilities and associated outdoor areas, as well as the Alpensportler, can now meet its entire energy requirements from its own electricity generation, thereby making a significant contribution to greater sustainability and climate protection.

Our P1 car park, located right next to the Neuss Ski Hall, has also been completely refurbished. Thirty charging points for electric cars now round off our sustainability offering and send a clear signal in support of renewable energy and the expansion of electric mobility in our region.

The charging points allow you to charge your electric cars conveniently and with environmentally friendly electricity during your stay.

We were recently awarded the Neuss Future Seal 2025 for this initiative!
This award makes us proud and motivates us to continue our contribution to climate protection consistently in the future!
