Our Fit Guarantee

Every pair of skis needs the right boot. That’s the only way to guarantee perfect fun on the slopes! Each of us has a unique foot. That’s why a mass-produced ski boot can’t fit every foot 100%. Boot fitting is the magic word here – or rather, the combination of knowledge and experience when it comes to feet. That’s why we take the time to find the perfect ski boot for you in a series of steps.

Buying ski boots

It’s simple – just book an appointment

A perfectly fitting ski boot is the foundation for crisp turns, great fun on the slopes and, ultimately, a thoroughly enjoyable skiing holiday!

However, advice, selection and fitting take a little time – time that we are happy to set aside for you. Especially in the evenings and at weekends during the winter season, we see more guests than during the week, and our ALPENSPORTLER experts are in high demand.

To ensure we can devote our full attention to you and your ski boots, we therefore recommend booking a consultation appointment in advance.

Bootfitting

Foot analysis

We always start with a foot analysis. Foot length, foot shape and ankle width are just a few of the criteria our boot fitters examine.

Personalised boot selection
Based on this analysis and your skiing requirements, our specialists will select the right boot model for you.

Liner customisation
To optimise the boot’s performance and enhance your skiing experience, we recommend using a customisable insole. This insole stabilises the foot, provides comfort and distributes pressure optimally. We customise the insole to fit your foot perfectly, creating the ideal foundation within the liner. These insoles can also be retrofitted into your own ski boots.

Other options:

Another way to customise your ski boot is through thermal moulding of the liner. With selected models, the liners can be heated and moulded to fit your feet perfectly. Furthermore, by directly modifying the liner, we can eliminate pressure points and create space for your foot or ankle exactly where it is needed.

Shell adjustment
If, after all these measures, the boot still presses here and there due to bony protrusions etc., we can reshape the outer shell with pinpoint accuracy at almost any point using special tools. The outer shell can be adjusted immediately during the fitting or at any time later should problems arise.

And should the boot ever stop fitting perfectly, we’re always on hand to make further adjustments. All of this means that buying ski boots from us is completely risk-free.
