Cross Country skiing
The high alpine and snow-sure resort of Filzmoos is a real insider tip for cross-country skiers: a total of ten marked tours suitable for all ability levels of 48 km in length lead through the idyllic winter landscape. The Landscape jewel Rossbrand is one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the Eastern Alps and offers magnificent views of over 150 Alpine peaks.

All of the Filzmoos Ski Schools offers courses as well as guided ski tours and equipment can be rented in resort.
Tobogganing or sledging is fun for all the family. The run from the Kleinbergalm down to the Kleinberg farm is 3 km long and covers 350 vertical metres. Fancy a toboggan run under the stars? Both, during the day or in the evening, you can enjoy a sociable tobogganing session here. Whether big or small, old or young, everyone takes part in a tobogganing party.
Romantic Horse-Drawn sleigh ride
A horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered landscape - this sensual nature experience has a long tradition in Filzmoos. In winter, from Christmas to Eastern, the entire valley is closed to car traffic, and you can reach the Hofalmen either by foot, by snowshoes or by romantic horse-drawn sleigh. From the centre of the village, the sledges take you to the Hofalmen, where delicacies from the SalzburgerLand cuisine are served.
