Snowshoe walks

There are many snowshoe trails in Châtel that you can follow independently. These different itineraries, some of which straddle the border between France and Switzerland, have been mapped out to meet the expectations of as many people as possible: from a one-hour stroll to a 4 or 5-hour hike. Snowshoeing is an ideal leisure activity for spending quality time with family and friends, with all the pleasures that it offers.

Between the Yooner, to glide 20 cm off the ground, the inflatable Airboard sled that you operate lying down, the Snakegliss articulated sliding train, or the scooter-ski and the snooc, come and discover new ways to have fun while sliding down the mountains.

The winter season is also characterised by major events such as the Christmas festivities, Charivari ( Farmer's Festival), Rock the Pistes (concerts on the skislopes), alpine ski and mogul ski races..... There is something for everyone!
