FAQ Climbing park

Climbing Park: children from 120 cm can climb, but under supervision of a climbing adult.
Climbing Park: children from 140 cm can climb independently
Ziplines: admission from 160 cm

Visitors with relevant medical conditions are discouraged from participating in the activities. Participation is at your own risk. SnowWorld Climbing Park is not liable for the development and/or worsening of symptoms and/or conditions.

For safety reasons, one adult can supervise five children in the climbing park. 

The Outdoor Park remains open during most weather conditions. Climbing is a wonderful experience, even in the rain! If you are uncertain whether the weather will allow climbing, please don't hesitate to contact us. In the event of exceptionally bad weather* we will move the programme to the slopes free of charge. Your outing will never be a washout!

* storms, thunderstorms, minimum force 5 winds or snow (this will be determined by SnowWorld on the actual day).

For safety reasons, spectators are not admitted to the Outdoor Park. However, it is possible to view climbers in the Outdoor Park from the adjacent bars, restaurants and terraces.

At SnowWorld Outdoor you do not pay per circuit. Your admission ticket gives you admission to the entire climbing park. From the start plateau it will take 2-3 hours before you overcome all the obstacles.

Shoes: sporty shoes are obligatory; flip-flops and sandals are not permitted.
Clothing: we recommend sporty clothing; skirts and dresses are not permitted.
Jewellery: not permitted.
Hair: long hair must be fastened back.

Are you not wild about heights, but still want to conquer the Outdoor Park? Then a personal guide will help! Not only will the guide be your helping hand, he will also tell you interesting facts about the surroundings and its history. A personal guide is also the ideal way to enable your children to climb under supervision.

Please note, a personal guide is certainly not obligatory. There are always rescue staff present in the park during regular visits.

Avoid the queues, book your start! Book your start time on klimparkreserveringen@snowworld.com or call +31 (0)45 54 70 700. Booking is not compulsory, but it enables you to bypass possible admission queues.

For safety reasons, this is not permitted. Upon your arrival, we will provide you with a climbing harness and helmet. 

Lockers are available for you to store your personal property.


Safety is paramount at SnowWorld. Admission is under the supervising eye of certified instructors.

Outdoor Park:

  • helmet
  • fully secured in a climbing harness with Xpoglider safety system
  • TÜV approved
  • affiliated with the Stichting Veilig Werken Buitensport
